Jonathan Milne
JONATHAN MILNE commenced paper sculpting in 1974 after working as a lettering artist, advertising art director and freelance graphic designer.
Now internationally recognised as a premier artist specialising in this creative medium, his dimensional works-of-art have been reproduced worldwide. His superb original artworks grace many boardrooms, foyers and private collections.

A commission from the Masters Games Foundation for a dimensional white-on-white profile portrait of the Rt.Hon. Roland Michener,OC,PC,CC,CD,QC, former Governor General of Canada which was presented to him on stage at Roy Thompson Hall, Toronto, for his 85th birthday.
A commission from Royal Caribbean to create three dimensional white-on- white automotive paper sculptures for their new cruise ship "Mariner of the Seas", the largest work being 108w x72h x4d inches.
A commission from New York University to create a dimensional white-on- blue paper sculpture of their newly acquired Woolworth's Building. This seventy two inch high artwork now adorns the buildings new foyer.
A commission from Boeing California, for a Director's retirement gift which featured a Boeing c17 in flight over foggy London.
A Vancouver commission from Envision to celebrate a Corporate merger and honour the involved Board of Directors.
Jonathan's superbly detailed work has been featured on Canada Post's "Performing Arts" series of four postage stamps and on the Royal Mail's Commemorative label celebrating the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Edinburgh, Scotland. A further commission from Britain's Royal Mail was for an original white-on-white dimensional paper sculpture birthday card which was presented by them to HRH Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother on the occasion of Her ninety-ninth birthday.
His dimensional art has been hero or spotted in nine Canadian and two Irish TV commercials plus in a series of Parliamentary titles for the BBCTV London.
He was a guest artist of the Automotive Fine Arts Society to show with them at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. He is a winner of the Automotive Journalist's Association of Canada's "Art of the Automobile" competition and was then the Western judge for five years. Jonathan's unique white-on-white dimensional automotive art has been recognised by USA's Road and Track, the Car Collector and Britain's Classic and Sports Car magazines plus several Auto Club publications and the Canadian Press.
Jonathan enjoys numerous awards and honours, is the first featured artist in the Ziegler/Greco hardcover book on Paper Sculpture and in Vancouver was featured by Lloyd Dykk in the Vancouver Sun's "Arts and Life" section. He is a longtime member of the Society of Illustrators New York, an active Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow.
